Know Yourself And Know Your Enemies

Nearly a full house of over 33 working professionals attended the “People Reading Skills Using DISC Personality Profiling” public seminar on evening of 2nd November at PSB Academy Tiong Bahru Campus. They were there to learn about how DISC personality profiling can help them in workplace and in their social lives, and they not just left with the knowledge of how to do so, but also had an enjoyable time spent in the process.

“The seminar is relevant from a work and personal point of view. Great use of tone, humour, and interaction with the group. (Kenneth) can be funny but (yet able to) move to a serious position as required,” commented John Avenell, CEO of Ec Global & Associates.

All of the participants in the seminar were enriched during the seminar, as it helped them to discover more about themselves, and how to work with the people around them. In addition, a helpful framework of how to read different personalities in 4 minutes was given.

DISC is a Four Quadrant Human Behaviour Model based on the work of William M. Marston that is used to assess the behaviour of individuals in their environment or situation. In the early 1920s, Marston’s work began when he first studied the concepts of will and power and their effect on personality and human behaviour, and these findings contributed greatly to the field of psychology.DISC profiling is now widely used and accepted by Fortune 500 companies to understanding human behaviour and most scientifically validated.
